Since having children my eating habits and exercise regime dipped to a real time low because of being so tired all the time and having an injured pelvis.
My children became my priority and there never seemed time for myself anymore. I had tried slimming pills prescribed through my Doctor, other exercise classes and walking with friends but nothing seemed to work.
In September 2007 I felt the urge to really push myself again and try to get fit and lose some pounds. So i joined Bootcamp......
They really do give you the motivation to continue and they have also offered some invaluable advice on diet and nutrition.
My body is probably the most toned it has ever been and I am slowly losing the pounds as well.

Lat year I was reasonably fit and doing about 4 hours of exercise per week-since moving house I have let things slide and put on 2 stones in weight. It’s amazing how quickly it goes! Bootcamp was my fast track back to the discipline of regular exercise that I needed.
Although the scales haven’t changed, I can see changes in my body shape and my clothes are looser! Also climbing up the stairs or hills where I would be hugely out of breath is now much easier. I have even found my self-running upstairs at home.
Come and try Bootcamp. The beauty of this is you go at your own pace, its designed for an all body work out and because its in a group you’re naturally encouraged to do well by the trainers and other campers. I’ve already signed up for the next one!!! The emails are also helpful with hints and tips on nutrition, motivation and looking after your self.

I wanted to do something fun and different. I was fed up of the gym and need to find a new way to exercise I liked the idea of being outside and in a group.
With a stress full job the exercise helped and it has also improved my cardio vascular system, as I am asthmatic. It has help with my anxiety levels I sleep better my clothes are looser- big bonus and my core strength had improved.
Any one thinking about the Bootcamp should just go for it, its great fun! Ben and Steve are very motivating.
I never tried boxing before and loved the ball games (even when we cheated) Bootcamp gives you a real boost. Am sorry this one has ended but I’ll be back next time.

I met Steve and liked the sound of his Bootcamp; although I probably didn't think the idea through properly; I signed up the next day.
What was I letting myself in for? In my middle years, menopausal, feeling overweight, out of condition, slightly unfit and decrepit I was going to line up with lithe young women, 2 or 3 times a week and, do what?
Well, from the first moment Steve and Ben's introduction to some common and not so common exercises made me want to participate alongside some really friendly and lovely ladies, all with the same purpose - to jog further in a quicker time, to do more press-ups in a fixed time and to skip, yes skip for the first time in over 40 years!
The first week was hard, the weather cold and damp and some of the exercises very challenging.
Partnering up was fun, encouragement not just from Ben & Steve but also from the others was very motivating. The second and third weeks came and went, and all to soon it is the 4th and final sessions, in glorious sunshine, how good that feels!
Previous injury prevented me doing one or two of the exercises, but rest was not assured, I managed to do others and replaced burpees [?] with sit-ups and mountain climbers with something else equally obscure, painful and challenging!
Oh, and in case going to Bootcamp wasn't enough there was an e-mail follow up or reminder every other day! Humph, certainly a lot too think about.
Improvements? My fitness levels have improved, strength and energy levels are increased, I've met some great people and had a lot of fun. Measurement are slightly reduced, weight loss 4.5 lbs in 4 weeks. Would I do it again? Of course - I can't wait!
The camaraderie, the energy, tuition and just being outside all made Bootcamp a great experience, and one I would recommend to anyone.

I joined Bootcamp because-

Since the Bootcamp has finished my body is more toned and I can actually see some muscles! My mind is refocused and I feel more energetic during the day, my fitness has improved and inch’s have been lost.
I had become very disillusioned with exercise and fitness training and needed something a bit different. Sussex Bootcamps certainly did that!
Training in the fresh, with views of the south downs with a group of new friends means I actually enjoy pushing myself as hard as I can! Ben and Steve’s gentle but effective persuasion encouraged us to work hard but keep smiling, and the only competition you face is against your self, just trying to improve on last weeks exercises.
My body feels and looks more toned, I’ve lost inches and my mind is energised, - thanks for helping me find my “mojo” again!

I'm in my mid forties and I started this Bootcamp having done very little at all in the way of regular exercise over the past 15 years.
The sessions have been tough , I ached a lot at first but I'm now starting to feel less exhausted by the sessions, fitter and more energized.
I've done things I've never tried before- boxing, skipping and played ball games for the first time since I left school!
The camaraderie between us all is great. Steve and Ben are very encouraging and the e mail communication between sessions helps keep you focused.
I feel and look more toned, particularly round the middle-others have commented, so it must be true!
Exercising outdoors on a frosty morning when the sun is shining is a real boost and makes you feel glad to be alive. I shall definitely be signing up for the next 4 weeks.

I started training with Sussex Bootcamps to finally get a structured workout three times a week, where I could loose weight and tone up.
At the end of the four weeks I have become more fit, lost inches and have more energy and zest for life than ever before.
I would recommend Bootcamp to anyone looking to build self-confidence and get fit whilst having fun. I for one will definitely be back for the next Bootcamp.

I joined Bootcamp in Haywards Heath to regain my fitness after having my two children and to also decrease my stress levels.
Since completing the 4-week camp I am happy, healthier and have much more energy on a daily basis.
The camp is really fun and I loved working in a group especially when we did the ball games. My fitness has improved and my stress levels were non-existent after a workout.
